Directions from New York City:

By Train: Take the Long Island RailRoad (Call 718 217-5477 for fares and schedules,
www.lirr.org) from Penn Station to Greenport, step onto the ferry for the 7 minute ride
to Shelter Island.

By Bus: Take The Hampton Jitney (call 631-283-4600 for fares & schedules,
www.hamptonjitney.com) from midtown to Greenport, step onto the ferry for the
7 minute ride to Shelter Island.

By Boat: Take the Long Island Sound to Peconic Bay. Boats can anchor in front
of the hotel for day visits or dinner reservations. For longer stays moor at Coecles
Marina or Dering Harbor.

By Car: Take the Long Island Expressway to Riverhead, continue on route 25 to
Greenport, drive onto the ferry for the 7 minute ride to Shelter Island.

Car hire: Car rental is available from Enterprise Rent-a-Car, whose staff can collect
you from the Greenport ferry and take you to their offices in Riverhead.

Directions from the North Shore:

Take the ferry from Greenport. Once on the island, follow route 114 up the hill into Shelter Island Heights.
Travel straight onto (bumpy) New York Avenue. Make a right at the 4 way stop onto West Neck Road
(which turns into Shore Road as you reach the beach) and we are there on your left, waiting for you.

Directions from the South Shore

Follow Route 114 out of Sag Harbor to the south ferry at North Haven. Once on the island continue on
winding Route 114 through the center of town (3 miles-ish), then make a left onto West Neck Road, which turns into
Shore Road as you reach the beach) and we are there on your left, expecting you.
